the long-term recovery efforts in Watauga County
following the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene.

The Watauga Long Term Recovery Group is searching for a full time director. The initial contract will be for approximately 16 months or the length of the initial grant. If funding is able to continue and work is necessary, then the contract can be extended.

Our Mission
The mission of the Watauga Long Term Recovery Group is to link to and support recovery services to individuals, families, businesses, and groups affected by Hurricane Helene in
Watauga County and nearby communities. Services will be provided regardless of race,
creed, color, gender, disability, or religious preference. The goal of the WLTRG is to see
all of our fellow residents fully recover from the disaster.
